FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can a translated official document be submitted to an embassy?

Yes. Documents are formatted and stamped with our certified translation seal for use at embassies, the Department of Consular Affairs, or related authorities when that certified translation format is accepted.

Do I need to send the physical original?

For quoting and producing the translation file, no - a clear photo or PDF is enough. The original is only required if you want us to walk the document through legalization at the Department of Consular Affairs, in which case a power-of-attorney form is also needed (available for download from our site).

What if the English name on my passport doesn't match my Thai documents?

We default to the passport spelling and flag any inconsistencies in the document set before delivery, so you can decide how to handle them and avoid documents being rejected by the destination.

Can MeeIQ walk documents through the Department of Consular Affairs or embassies?

Yes. We can quote a walk-in legalization service for customers who cannot go in person, with fees, timing, and related steps confirmed before we start.

Can documents be sent online?

You can send files via LINE for an immediate quote. If we need the physical original or to ship the finished translation by EMS/Flash, we'll walk you through the steps before starting.
